Enrichment Activities Available During the ½ Day Seattle Schools Furlough Day on January 24th with Elaine Woodhouse
An Early Dismissal Day, NOT scheduled on the school calendar, will occur on Tuesday January 24th.
Due to the popularity of the Early Dismissal Workshops I have decided to offer an afternoon of enrichment activities with fun and games in the school Cafeteria from 12:00 - 3:00pm. The cost will be $18 with registration available either online with links from www.carvedstamps.com, or a form available from Tamie’s Daycare.
Activities will include:
- STORYTELLING IN FELT - Felt story boards will be available for students to design scenery and create their own stories
- STENCIL MANIA - Lots and lots of fun stencils await to inspire your drawing
- FREE CHOICE ART - Everything you need to fulfill your creativity
- GAME TABLE - An amazing choice of games and puzzles
- LEGOLAND
- MAGNETIC STRUCTURES
- COMIC CORNER - Relax with Calvin and Hobbes, Garfield etc.
- GYM TIME - -Ball games, hop scotch, skipping etc.
Parents are asked to provide their child with a snack during the Workshop. |

Now those three pictures are Kronliiq, MechaWing's pal. Luckily, he did not suffer the same incident as his pal did but he was born without wings, but his best pal got him fitted for bionic wings, not knowing that he, later would need some too. Kronliiq felt like his job was to encourage MechaWing . when MechaWing couldn't do it even with his closest friend's encouragement ,his old friend Kronliiq did it for him. That is how Kronliiq won the war.

This is from G, and these are pictures of MechaWing. MechaWing is one o' those flying tigers...but when he went to war an enemy shot the breaking point between his wings and arms and his body was in so much pain that the surgeons had to cut off his wings and replaced them. Since then , he seems to have lost some of his pride.

This is a story about Animutania from H. W.
"The animutant just lived in a container, that is all. In Animutania that he did not like that at all.
Then he was moved to a house. There was an office, there was a kitchen and a bedroom and living room. And a little Fox Xchool and a pathway down to a school.
" Oh I have no one to share this house with",so he got married with a beautiful lady horse called Butterscotch.
They had a little baby names Hammy.
Hammy loved to play soccer so when he came home from school everyday he would play some soccer. The Dad loved to watch Tv all day...aallll day.
Sometimes he would eat dinner there watching that TV.
The Mom cooks dinner alot alot alot and I hope u like it.
That is the end of the Animutania story."
